Governors at Heathcote Primary School

Mr James Stacey

Chair of Governors and Parent Governor

stacey.j2@welearn365.com

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as one of the Parent Governors. My wife and I have been residents of the local area for 15 years and since my son (aged 5) joined Heathcote Primary School I have been keen to support the school in its development. I joined the Board of Governors in late 2019 and continue to be impressed by the community focussed aspect of school life.

For the past 3 years I have worked as a Head of Department for the local Further Education College having previously been a Head of Curriculum and Class Teacher in a Secondary School in Birmingham. This experience of education can be invaluable however no two schools are the same especially when they cater for different age groups.

I hope to be able to help the school to continue to thrive especially as the school and local area are growing. It is a very exciting time for our children and the school.
